Single-Family and Missing Middle Residential Objective Design Standards
The Antioch Multi-Family Objective Design Standards provide key, objective requirements for developing single-family and missing middle residential development. Objective design standards are written to have “no personal or subjective judgment by a public official and are uniformly verifiable by reference to an external and uniform benchmark or criterion available and knowable by both the development applicant and the public official prior to submittal.” These objective design standards aim to provide a clear and straightforward application and approval process for housing construction within the City.

The Public Works Abatement Team works hard throughout the City of Antioch addressing illegal dumping and accumulation of trash and City property and streets. These hardworking employees remove mattresses, construction debris, furniture, and other household garbage illegally dumped throughout the City and paint over or remove graffiti from public property.
Reports of illegal dumping can be filed by sending an email to publicworks@antiochca.gov.
Improvements have been made to the City of Antioch SeeClickFix platform. Citizens will now receive an Open, Acknowledged, and Closed response on all submitted requests. This keeps citizens informed throughout the process of their request being resolved and allows requests to be facilitated more efficiently. What’s best about this, is the app and web-interface hasn’t changed at all. Citizens can still submit requests just as they always have, but now benefit from these key improvements.
City Council Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. City Council Agendas, including Staff Reports are typically posted onto our City’s Website 72 hours before each Council Meeting. To be notified when the agenda packets are posted onto our City’s Website, simply go to https://www.antiochca.gov/notifications/ and enter your e-mail address to subscribe.
