Council Member Freitas: Mayor Pro Tem and he attended the first FUA #1 meeting last night to meet bi-weekly to make a recommendation for FUA #1, will meet at Police Facility Community Room; TRANSPLAN to outline the projects being planned, 7:30 p.m. on 5/11/2000 in the Council Chambers
Council Member Soliz: Reported on series of meetings attended in Anchorage Alaska to get information on how a City (such as Antioch) would apply for and plan for Economic Development monies from the Department of Commerce, more inclined to give monies to an area that is partnering in Economic Development efforts, amounts could be upward of several million dollars, including monies for infrastructure
Mayor Rocha: Mayors' Conference adopted resolution on TRANSPLAN projects, Resolution called on the BART Board to look at their policy of approving extensions outside the specified boundaries.
STAFF COMMUNICATIONS
City Attorney William Galstan reported on the requirements of finding a replacement for the Council vacancy

All of these materials are available at the City Clerk's Office during normal business hours for inspection and (for a fee) copying. Copies are also made available at the Antioch Public Library for inspection. Questions on these materials may be directed to the staff member who prepared them, or to the City Clerk's Office, who will refer you to the appropriate person.
