In order to start services as a tenant or renter, you may email, fax, or come in person to City Hall with the following documents and information: (A third party may not do this for you in your behalf)

The Verification of Tenancy Form completed in person at City Hall by your landlord/owner or via notary by the landlord/owner OR by the authorized Property Manager,
All NEW property management companies or realtors, acting on behalf of a home owner, may present themselves in person, or place a request via fax or email which needs to include the complete Management/Listing Agreement, government issued photo ID, new water account set up fee of $30.00 and minimum deposit of $186.00 (paid in guaranteed funds) to start an initial account.
Existing or previous property management companies or realtors in good standing, acting on behalf of a homeowner, must provide the notarized Tenancy Form AND the complete Management/Listing Agreement AND
Valid government issued photo ID (Driver’s License, DMV Identification Card, Passport or Matricula),
Contact name and daytime phone number,
Billing address and
New water account set up fee of $30.00.
You may come in person to City Hall, email firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to 925-779-7054. If you fax or email you will be billed the new water account set up fee of $30.00 on your first bill.
Please be advised, any previous water account balances with the City of Antioch or in collections must be paid prior to opening a new account and a deposit may be required.
All service requests are scheduled for the next business day. To obtain same day service, a same day service fee of $150.00 will be required.
Any tampering of the water meter will be charged a minimum tamper fee of $250.00.
