Summer 2020 Safety Precautions
The City of Antioch and Water Park staff take our community’s health and safety seriously. We wanted to inform you of all the measures and procedures we have implemented in order to open in the summer of 2020.
The Water Park is only open for Family Swim and Lap Swim programs, not general admission, water aerobics or swim lessons.
High touch attractions such as slides and the spray park have been closed for the summer. Bathrooms remain open but locker rooms and showers are closed. Inside the bathrooms, alternating stalls, urinals and sinks are open in order to allow for proper distancing requirements.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 individuals from the same household.
Each group that enters the Water Park, reserves a location that is either and individual pool or is divided by a physical barrier such as lap lanes.
Cleaning and Sanitation
Each session is limited to one hour. After each hour the Water Park will be cleared of all guests, cleaned and sanitized before the next session begins. There are also hand sanitization stations for guests throughout the park including at the payment window, check-in table, first aid area and bathroom areas.
Masks must be worn by staff at all times and by all guests when they are not in the Water. Masks are sold for $2 to anyone who forgets to bring a mask as well.
Credit Cards Only
No cash is accepted due to the potential spread of the virus through physical currency.
Staff Personal Protective Equipment
All staff are required to wear masks. In addition, members of our check in team are required to wear face shields. For any potential rescues, our CPR and First Aid procedures align with CDC recommendations including the use of a bag valve mask (BVM) with HEPA Filter instead of mouth to mouth ventilations and donning full PPE (N95 Mask, goggles, medical gown) in any emergency situations.
