The Board hears administrative appeals dealing with Municipal Code interpretations. Administrative Appeals meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 3:00 p.m. at the Antioch Community Center 4703 Lone Tree Way.

Regular meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. virtually on Zoom on the first Tuesday in the months of February, April, June, October and December, and the third Tuesday in July. No meetings are held during January or August. The EDC’s function is to address economic development issues within the City and make recommendations to the City Council and staff regarding policies, regulations, marketing, development strategies and planning activities designed to enhance the City’s economic base and create quality jobs.

The Parks and Recreation Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council in matters pertaining to park and recreation policy and to the City Manager, the Parks and Recreation Director, and the Public Works Director in matters pertaining to the administration of park and recreation functions as well as engaging the community in programs and services.
The Commission meets regularly on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm in the City Council Chambers. When the meeting date and location changes due to unforeseen circumstances the meeting modifications are provided in advance.

Commission meets on the third Monday of the month in the Antioch Police Department’s Community Room (300 “L” Street) at 7:00 p.m., barring holidays in which case meetings will be held the following Wednesday.

The committee’s function is to review the receipt and expenditure of the City’s voter approved Measure W one-cent sales tax effective April 1, 2019. The committee must report out to the City Council by April 1 of each year the results of their review. The committee is required to meet at least two times annually.
